Vote SFFPWA 1 above the Line to Protect your Heritage and Future!

 1. SFFPWA OSTLE Stuart

Stuart Ostle B.App.Sc. is a WA land-based, licensed aqua- culturist and primary producer. A long standing 4wd/motoring, fishing, firearm enthusiast and outdoorsman. Stuart advocates, all Western Australians be able to enjoy this great States’ vast Coast to Outback, and what it means socially for our continued quality of Western Australian Life!

Stuart is a stalwart and tireless representative of SFFPWAs core values since inception and vehemently opposes the WA Labor Government rhetoric and vilification of hardworking Farmers and Primary Producers, Recreational and Commercial Fishers, and the most trustworthy, lawfully registered Firearm Owners in the World.

Stuart will hold the elected Government and unrestrained bureaucratic departments accountable for the life changing decisions, done without due consultation, during the last 8 years.  #VOTE1SFFPWA

2. SFFPWA LOUDEN Karrie

I have lived in areas from the South West to Kununurra and worked in all sorts of jobs from mustering cattle to being a criminal defence lawyer in Perth.

After finishing high school I completed a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Muresk and worked in the agriculture sector for a few years before undertaking my law degree at Murdoch.

I am passionate about the outdoors and have spent hundreds of nights under canvas and out exploring in my 4wd enjoying this beautiful country of ours. I also enjoy riding my horses and am looking forward to teaching my young daughter to ride.

As a criminal lawyer my job isn’t just to ‘get the bad guys off’ I defend people accused of all sorts of offences from firearms, fishing, planning, and animal welfare through to white collar crime and everything in between.

As someone who believes in the rule of law, I also believe the laws should be properly scrutinised so the rights of individuals are not eroded.  I believe individuals should feel safe in their own homes and should be able to enjoy their recreational time doing whatever they choose to do. If elected, I would be a voice not only for shooters, fishers and farmers but also for those who believe in the rights and freedoms of people in Western Australia.  #VOTE1SFFPWA

3. SFFPWA RAFFAELLI Peter

Peter Raffaelli is a professional manager, working in the resources, commercial and utilities sector which has taken him throughout Australia and Overseas during his career spanning some forty years. He is also a dedicated sporting shooter spending time when he was younger in pest control and human consumption activities. He also has interests in aviation, politics and is an outdoor enthusiast, taking advantage of what this great country has to offer. Supporting and representing responsible firearm ownership, Peter has recognised the unnecessary overreach in WA’s new firearms legislation, and will fight for fair, fact-based legislation that both allows for law abiding firearm enthusiasts to participate in their chosen activities and also provides a solid framework that is workable and provides a future for our sport, recreation and profession.

Representing the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party WA, Peter is committed to standing for the interests of everyday West Australians that follow the law and simply wish to pursue their chosen sport and recreation without undue restriction. He believes that Western Australians need to be supported with a Government that focuses on the real issues facing the State rather than chasing votes through virtue signalling smoke with little substance and little to no results. Better roads, sensible power solutions, well staffed and adequate healthcare and world class education need to be at the forefront of our efforts to create the best society for all Western Australians.#VOTE1SFFPWA

4. SFFPWA CARMODY Jack

Jack Carmody is a hardworking cattle station owner, aviation enthusiast, and advocate for regional Western Australia. Living and working in the outback, Jack understands firsthand the challenges faced by rural and remote communities—whether it’s securing fair representation, maintaining essential services, or protecting the rights of primary producers. With a background in innovation, technology, and land management, Jack has been at the forefront of practical solutions that strengthen the regions, from water management systems to sustainable feral animal control. As a staunch supporter of responsible firearm ownership, he has been a vocal critic of the overreach in WA’s new firearms legislation, advocating for fair and evidence-based policies that respect the needs of law-abiding citizens.

Representing the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party WA, Jack is committed to cutting through party politics and putting the interests of everyday West Australians first. He believes infrastructure spending should be focused on projects that strengthen the economy and promote regional growth—because when the regions thrive, all of WA benefits. Too often, taxpayer money is wasted on vanity projects designed to boost political profiles rather than deliver real outcomes for communities. Jack will fight to ensure investment goes into critical infrastructure like safer highways, reliable power, and better healthcare and education in the regions, supporting industries that create jobs and build a stronger future for all Western Australians.#VOTE1SFFPWA

Dawesville                                Vote 1 SFFPWA      WALKER Sam

Sam grew up in the Perth hills surrounded by the bush yet developed a strong affinity with the ocean at a young age. A keen surfer who later became a fisherman, he has also had a life long interest in hunting and competition shooting. These days he can be found shooting in F Class (a WARA discipline) in the booming Production Class which has attracted new members since its inception in 2018.
Sam has worked most of his career in mineral processing and refining, which lead to the opportunity to move the family to remote Gove, NT for ten years. The difference in the WA vs NT government attitudes to his favourite pastimes made a big impression, and Sam is a passionate advocate for Public Land Hunting.

He says that while some bigger parties have jumped on the bandwagon to attract the shooting vote, we need some SFFP representation to keep them on track should they be successful in this election.

Forrestfield                               Vote 1 SFFPWA      MUNRO Chris

I have lived in the great region of Forrestfield for 38 years, and during that time, I have witnessed the values that make our community unique. As someone who actively participates in ballistic sports every weekend, I understand the importance of responsible firearm ownership and the role it plays in preserving our way of life. My support for firearms rights is grounded in the belief that law-abiding citizens should not be penalized for their commitment to safety, discipline, and personal responsibility. These values are integral to our society, and it is vital that we continue to uphold them with fairness and respect.

Beyond firearms, I am also deeply passionate about supporting our farmers and fishing communities, who are the backbone of our nation. These industries are vital not only for our economy but also for our way of life. I firmly believe that we need policies that protect the rights of farmers and fishermen to work with the land and sea, free from unnecessary government interference. Agriculture and fishing provide for us all, and it’s time to ensure that these sectors receive the respect and support they deserve.

In my political journey, I stand firm in the principle of fairness under the law. No one should be unfairly targeted or subjected to laws that don’t apply equally to everyone. I believe that the rule of law should apply to all, without discrimination, and that our legal system should always work to protect individuals’ rights. As a member of the Shooters, Fishers and farmers party, I will continue to advocate for common-sense policies that prioritize the rights of individuals while ensuring that our communities remain safe, prosperous, and just.

Nicoletta (Nikki) has a long standing love for Fremantle from its unchallenged social atmosphere, local businesses and events, to its professional and recreational fishing industry. Nikki still to this day is still involved with the sea working for a marine and aviation safety company. Nikki is also a keen shooter who has won numerous medals over her current 20 plus year sporting life that she pursues with a passion.

Still living in Fremantle Nikki continues her family presence in the city and she continues to enjoy the benefits that this unique area provides.

Jandakot                                   Vote 1 SFFPWA      STRAHAN Alan

I grew up on farms around the lower Midwest of Western Australia and have always had a great affinity with farms and farmer. I am concerned with what Labour have done to hurt the farmers and the communities that service them.

I am a keen fisher person and love nothing more to go fishing with my children. The big question is are we still going to be able to do so after the election

I am a former long serving Western Australian Police officer and volunteer with the St John Ambulance service and both the Volunteer Bushfire Service and Volunteer Fire and Rescue and as such I have a very strong sense of public service and look forward to serving the people of Jandakot as your next member of Parliament.

Joondalup                                Vote 1 SFFPWA      KANNIS Michael

My name is Michael Kannis, and I’ve been a proud resident of Ocean Reef for the past decade. I’m running for the seat of Joondalup in the upcoming election as a representative of the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party. At 42 years old, I’m a qualified tradesman with 24 years of hands-on experience in the construction, mining, and oil and gas industries. In this time, I’ve worked in some of the most high profile, remote and challenging environments both marine and land based across Western Australia, which has shaped me into a determined and resourceful individual with a deep appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and hard work.

Outside of work, I’m an avid outdoorsman with a strong connection to nature. I’m a member of the Ocean Reef Sports Club and love fishing, recreational and sporting shooting, and four-wheel driving—activities that allow me to enjoy the outdoors and connect with like-minded individuals in my community. My love for fishing started at age seven, when my family went on holiday in Guilderton, and I caught my first bream. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for the sport, weather it be fishing old Dunsborough rocks or sport fishing around the waters of Exmouth. Whether I’m casting a line from the rocks or heading offshore, I’m a big advocate for sustainable fishing practices, supporting science-based conservation and not cherry pick paid for drivel to suit an agenda, this way we can ensure future generations can enjoy the same opportunities.

My respect for tradition and history extends to my passion for shooting, which started during childhood holidays at my grandparents’ home in Ballarat, Victoria. He would take me out to our family farm to shoot rabbits and other feral pests, my grandfather was a hunter and collector, and he introduced me to the historical significance of firearms used in WW1 And WW2. His influence instilled in me a deep respect for the sacrifices of past generations, and I continue to carry on his legacy. Today, I’m an active member of a local shooting club and participate in long-range precision shooting, fly shooting, and pistol disciplines. My interest in collecting historical firearms goes beyond preserving artifacts—it’s about safeguarding the stories and heritage that come with them.

I’m driven by a strong sense of community, family values, and a commitment to preserving and promoting outdoor traditions. I believe in responsible, sustainable approaches to recreational activities, ensuring they are enjoyed in a way that respects both the environment and their historical significance. Deeply rooted in my heritage, I am dedicated to honouring the sacrifices made by past generations and ensuring their legacies are never forgotten.

Kwinana                                    Vote 1 SFFPWA      HAMILTON Tim

My name is Timothy Hamilton and I’m running as a candidate for the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party WA at the WA State Election on 8 March 2025.

As an Environment Consultant and a small business owner with a professional shooting business, the new laws coming into effect will affect me very heavily.

The Labour Party and The Greens want to put policies into place which will also affect my pastime of hiking and trail running in the beautiful countryside of Western Australia.

I am running in this State Election to make sure the changes that Labour and the Greens want to put into place do not happen and the future of our fishing, shooting and farming is secure and safe for generations to come.

Mount Lawley                            Vote 1 SFFPWA      SINGLETON Stuart

I am Stuart Singleton  your Local SFFPWA candidate for the seat of Mt  Lawley.

I am now retired after spending almost 50 years in farming, heavy industry and mining.  Living outside Perth for work and family reasons I am very aware of major issues facing the general voting public today.

The public health system is failing badly due the current Government neglect. The softly softly approach to crime which is definitely not working. The housing crisis which seems to be simply a blame game.  The reintroduction of the Aboriginal Heritage  Act is causing the farming community great distress plus the future end of the live sheep trade.

Unfortunately when the sitting Government has complete domination, major issues are simply ignored and replaced by pet projects, to the detriment of the general voting public.

I want to see Mt Lawley grow and prosper under a Government with fresh Ideas and not its own self importance.

At this election I will fight for the Mt Lawley community, and need your help.

Oakford                                      Vote 1 SFFPWA      LEAN Ronald

Ronald has lived in and around the new Oakford electorate for 45 years and have witnessed many changes in the area during that time

He has been married to Annette for 50 years and they have three children, six grandchildren and are well established there.

Ron has worked in the area of sales most of his life establishing business for other companies until he decided to go it alone with quite good success retiring in 2006 he got involved with the SFFPWA because he could see the slow but deliberate strangling of family values freedom of choice and currently the blatant attack on all working people choices

My reason for standing as a candidate is to restore the fundamentals of family plus the freedom to spend our recreational time as we should.

Restoring our medical care, housing, water and our supporting our country cousins whom are all doing it tough.

Swan Hills                                  Vote 1 SFFPWA      WILLIAMSON Ross

Ross Williamson  is a successful criminal defence lawyer with extensive experience in  firearms law.  He has been involved in many campaigns for the rights of shooters, farmers and other land users. He sadly recalls the WA parliament outlawing duck seasons on public land in 1992.  He says this country is suffocating from the stranglehold of green and red tape that is taking Australia down the European path to economic and social misery known as socialism. The violence done by city centric governments to the rights of shooters, farmers and fisher, and to  private property rights generally, has been appalling.    A farmer’s son, Mr Williamson would bring a wealth of professional and life experience to the parliament.
