Shooters and Fishers Party (WA) Inc has elected a new Chairman to its State Executive Committee following the Hon Rick Mazza’s decision to stand down from the role at its Annual General Meeting in Fremantle last month.
Raymond Hull is a director of Raywell Contracting based in Waroona. He is a successful businessman, an avid fisher, loves hunting and enjoys 4 wheel driving. He and his family have been involved in farming in the Waroona area since his grandparents migrated from England in the early 1900’s.
Ray is looking forward to the challenges of leading the Shooters and Fishers to the next Federal and State elections. Addressing the State Executive at a recent meeting, Ray outlined his main objectives of building and consolidating the branches.
“The Shooters and Fishers currently have six formal branches and we need to formalise another three – Great Southern, MidWest and Central Wheatbelt within the next few months.
“We have many members in those regions who are looking forward to being practical contributors to our primary objective of protecting our freedom to fish, hunt, shoot and camp.
“My main job as Chairman is to provide an opportunity for our members to contribute and participate,” Ray said.
Also elected to the State Executive where south west farmer, Peter Swift who has a significant background in Private Property Rights and Paul Pitaro, owner of Western Trap and Field (WTD) in Cockburn.
Stefan Colaguiri from our Goldfields branch was elected to the position of Vice Chairman.
Mark McCall, Anne Fergusson-Stewart, Howard Barks, Paul Longo, Jamie Chester and Wayne Higgs were reappointed to the State Executive Committee.
